Eik (meaning "Oak" in old norse) is a new design from Nordic Slings, featuring oak leaves and acorns. Eik the Acorn is the first wrap in the new design. The mustard weft is 100% speckled tussah silk, and the midnight blue warp is 100% Egyptian combed cotton. Öeko-tex 100 certified.
The Acorn is fairly loosely woven in a jacquard satin weave, balancing the grip of the nubby tussah thread, with glide provided by the weave. Both the cotton and silk is very soft, requiring minimal breaking in.
