Sometimes when you try a wrap everything just clicks. This picture is from 3 years ago, when my big kid was still a tester and this wrap came for a one week visit and we fell in love. It sat in the Wrapture archives, waiting for a day when it would be released to the wider world. This stunning fabric is available as a wrap or a ring sling, or as fabric by the meter with a few orders being placed already so it will definitely be woven, but may sell out before there is any retail stock. When we try something new at Wrapture Australia we like to go through an extensive testing process to be sure it is a premium product. Vintage Ruby is a bit different to the other Vintage design fabrics. It's a blend of cotton, sustainably grown bamboo and lyocell. It's very thin in hand, but super grippy and won't slip. It's been in development for 2 years and only 2 wraps were ever made. We've got it up for fabric pre-order in this round, and it's also available via our 'make me a wrap' form. We know this one is going to be hit and we've excited to bring you this old world glamour in a new blend and colourway.

Botanica was hand drawn by our lead fabric designer during the 8 months of lockdown in Melbourne during 2020. It's intricate details are lovingly crafted, in a way that is not often seen in these days of fast fashion and mass-production. It was inspired my family's story of migration and the time my grandparents spent at migrant camps in Bonnegilla and Sale, noticing how strikingly different the flora and fauna in Australia was to that in Poland and Russia. The uniqueness of this fabric reflects the uniqueness of Australian botanicals, and celebrates the wonderful diversity of this continent.

This fabric is an earthy, luxurious blend of cotton, bamboo, lyocell and Belgian linen and is available in our current fabric by the metre pre-order. All fabrics are 20% off when purchased via pre-order, which automatically applies in your cart. Stay tuned for some pictures of this sewn up. It's just stunning!

But wait - there's another new fabric on the scene... introducing Galaxy Andromeda.
Gravity Andromeda is a wrap that embraces the geekier side of Wrapture Australia. The details of our fabrics and the intricacies of design have always been a major part of our business but this wrap was inspired by our love of science and space. The curves are reminiscent of a gravity well and each colourway will be named after a back hole. Looking for something that is technically designed, aesthetically pleasing with a slightly quirky back story? We've got you covered.
Gravity Andromeda comes in at 250 gsm and is composed of 60% cotton and 40% bamboo. It's available as a wrap, ring sling or as fabric by the meter in our pre-order which closes on 2nd May 2021.

It's no secret that I love blues and greens, and being near the ocean, so Empire Atlantis is an absolute vanity project. It uses 3 of our custom died cotton and bamboo yarns (deep indigo, cyan and seafoam) which are intricately woven to create a soft, art deco inspired design reminiscent of an underwater kingdom.
Almost all of our details are up on the website for our first fabric by the meter pre-order which will close on May 2nd. This fabric will make a stunning wrap or ring sling but would be perfect for sewing into a sturdy but glamorous bag or maybe even some lovely cushions.

I love #allthecolours but my favourite has to be green. Totally in love with this Vintage Emerald wrap. Scheduled for release in September 2020 and will be a limited pre-order due to the small quantity of fabric.

The name of this wrap is holds special meaning. Roses are often described as being a symbol of eternity and the red rose in particular is a symbol of devotion, passion and love. What better name for a wrap to carry those precious to you. This is a new blend for Wrapture, with little pockets of texture that puff up to form cuddly petals forming the ultimate cuddly wrap. Soft enough for a squish but sturdy enough for back carries with a toddler, this wrap will encourage you to breathe in deep and stop to smell the roses.

Eternal Devotion is a luscious blend of 59% cotton, 20% bamboo, 16% viscose and 5% linen at 263GSM.

Wrapture baby wraps are an all Australian product. From design and yarn dying, through weaving and finishing, everything is done right here in Melbourne, Australia. Wrapture work hard to ensure that their designs are technical, innovative, beautiful, luxurious, and buttery soft... each one something special!

I am in love with this photo and this wrap - Seadragons Mornington is soft, cuddly and mouldable from loom state - perfect for little squishes or for multilayer toddler carries. It would be incredible in a ring sling! It's our favourite blend of 60% cotton, 40% bamboo and has been designed and woven here in Melbourne, Australia. The design is inspired by the weedy seadragon, which lives off the cost of South Eastern Australia and this colourway is named Mornington, after the Mornington Penninsula, where, if you're lucky, you can go snorkling and see one of these beauties.
Due for release before the end of October!

The remaining purple rain pre-orders were folded and posted yesterday - learning to fold a woven wrap is something I only learnt when I took over this business and I still love seeing how it turns out differently depending on the length of the wrap and qualities of the fabric. There are only 4 of these wraps remaining (size 4,5,6,7) so if you want to grab one before I put them on the website next week then send me a message.

Charcoal and musk pink art deco loveliness. Empire Metro's sassy cousin is just as soft, mallowy and textured - and still so soft from the first wash.

Stunning in it's complexity, Empire is no flat weave! Wrapture's famous magic cotton/bamboo blend combines with an incredibly technical and beautiful weave to give stunning texture, cush and softness.

Empire Vogue will be available strictly by pre-order only - no wraps will be available after the initial order so don't miss out. If not enough wraps are ordered then there will be no weaving run and hence no wraps, accessories or scrap available either.
