TENCEL® is the lyocell fiber from the house of Lenzing. It is of botanic origin, since it is extracted from the raw material wood. Fiber production itself is extremely ecofriendly, due to the closed loop system. Textiles of TENCEL® are more absorbent than cotton, softer than silk and cooler than linen. Since the fiber has a smooth surface, the softness is appreciable and prevents irritations to the skin. Due to the unique structure, it can absorb moisture completely and naturally and then releases it to the outside. Bacteria do not stand a chance with TENCEL®. The perfect moisture management of this cellulosic fiber is responsible for the reduced bacteria growth. All completely without chemicals.
This particular Four Winds is one of our first wraps containing 40% Tencel. A joyful colored grad, with a nice, subtile shine. The wrap feels medium heavy in hand. It provides the wrapper with enough glide to get a perfect and snugly second pass in double layered carries, without being too slippery. Nice on your bare skin, cool, easy to break in. Suitable for babies, definitely strong enough to carry your toddler! Easy to wash, so don't hestitate to take it with you to the beach. Enjoy.
