Inspired by the amazing Michael J Fox playing the iconic role of Marty McFly in 1980's classic Back To The Future, 1.21 Gigawatts features vibrant orange, red, and yellow mercerised cotton on a deep, combed cotton black warp.
Blankety soft from the start, this glides into place but has just enough texture to hold firm. It wraps like a bandage and offers comfort from newborn up to preschooler.
As huge sci-fi fans, we simply couldn't pass up an opportunity to pay homage to a legend in a career defining role - a film so highly regarded that it regularly tops 'Best of' lists, and won a whole host of awards upon it's release.
When planning this wrap, we decided that for us, the most iconic scene is where Doc Brown and Marty utilize the power of the lightening strike to generate the 1.21 Gigawatts needed to power the time machine. The visual essence of that scene, for us, was the twin tracks of flames in the wake of the DeLorean - and it is that we have tried to emulate in 1.21 Gigawatts.
We adore Michael J Fox, and we're delighted to be able to honour him in such a way.
