Taking shape predominantly under the perfectly clear skies of Antarctica and the Arctic, the next in our Meteorological Phenomena series is Diamond Dust. Forming in areas well below freezing, an ultra-fine haze is created by a cloud of tiny ice-crystals, and can sometimes go uninterrupted for days at a time. Similar in theory to other surface based cloud formations such as fog, one significant difference is the lack of interference on visibility. The glittering, almost effervescent effect, created as the sunlight hits the tiny ice crystals and catches the light, gives this phenomena it's equally enchanting name.
Diamond Dust is a luxury quad blend wrap consisting of 57% Egyptian cotton, 20% linen, 15% ethically sourced merino wool, and 8% fine silk. One side of Diamond Dust features a steel blue background with an ombre of shimmering rose, magenta, lavender, and violet stockinette “knits”. The reverse is an ombre of pinks and violets with opaque blue “knits”.
The quad blend wraps are medium weight at 272 g/m2, feeling thin in hand and very supportive. The require a bit of breaking in, but will transform to be incredibly soft and floppy.

Woven Wings Baby wraps are woven in the UK in a renowned Mill specialising solely in bespoke high-end quality textiles. Established since 1720 working in collaboration with luxury Fashion houses and couture designers they produce fabrics that are of the highest quality and demand. Fibres are carefully and ethically sourced, and all yarns are dyed in-house allowing for one-of-kind colours. Some of my wraps will feature our non-chemical luxurious finish which makes them blankety soft straight out of the bag and requires no breaking in.
