Blackberry Nightshade draws you in with the striking yet mysterious black and purple stockinette weave. One of the most well researched and consumed wild foods in the world Blackberry Nightshade is to be embraced, not feared. Often connected, in error, with the notorious Deadly Nightshade, this woodland plant has shiny jewel-like deep purple berries. Our Stockinette weave is the perfect canvas for Blackberry Nightshade, as the grape coloured fibres peek out from amidst the black, hiding and revealing themselves in equal measure, tempting you further into its beauty.
The cushy weave and 9% merino make Blackberry Nightshade both cushy and snuggly, but also breathable and wearable in many climates. Blackberry Nightshade is composed of 91% luxury Egyptian cotton and 9% ethically sourced merino wool and weighs approximately 330 g/ms. Blackberry Nightshade has significant stretch and bounce and provides tender softness for newborns but will hold strong, cushy, and sturdy for toddlers.
One side of Blackberry Nightshade is a melody of mauve, violet, eggplant, steel and white on a black background. The reverse features an ombre of white and steel with violet and black knits.

Woven Wings Baby wraps are woven in the UK in a renowned Mill specialising solely in bespoke high-end quality textiles. Established since 1720 working in collaboration with luxury Fashion houses and couture designers they produce fabrics that are of the highest quality and demand. Fibres are carefully and ethically sourced, and all yarns are dyed in-house allowing for one-of-kind colours. Some of my wraps will feature our non-chemical luxurious finish which makes them blankety soft straight out of the bag and requires no breaking in.
