Squirrel Nutkin is next in our Beatrix Potter series of double-faced weave linen and combed cotton large Geo wraps. Squirrel Nutkin is comprised of 46% luxury combed cotton and 21% linen on a Egyptian cotton warp (33%). Squirrel Nutkin features a soft grey combed cotton sitting aside a warm sunset linen The combed cotton/ linen Geos break in very quickly and soon become amazingly soft and smushy!
Squirrel Nutkin weighs approximately 277 gr/m2 (after washing and breaking in). With just a bit of breaking in, this wrap will be soft as Nutkin’s tail, yet strong and cushy for toddlers, and breathable in the warmth. The linen threads will appear to have some movement but with washing, steam ironing, and use you will see the wrap transform as the threads thicken and plump up. And in little time, it will become a floppy, soft wrap.

My vision for wraps wasn’t simply to introduce another wrap to the market. Woven Wings Baby wraps are woven in the UK in a renowned Mill specialising solely in bespoke high-end quality textiles. Established since 1720 working in collaboration with luxury Fashion houses and couture designers they produce fabrics that are of the highest quality and demand. Fibres are carefully and ethically sourced, and all yarns are dyed in-house allowing for one-of-kind colours. Some of my wraps will feature our non-chemical luxurious finish which makes them blankety soft straight out of the bag and requires no breaking in.
