"Rêves de la lune- le safran” with fringles- release of 8 wraps

Today I want to share with You yet another piece from my spring/summer collection of no-cotton wraps. This particular wrap draws its uniqueness from an unusual combination of yarns, making it a perfect cloth also for hot summer days. To add to the distinctiveness of the design I have decided to make only 8 of them, and there will never be more. These limited wraps have Oeko tex 100 certificates, and are made in France.

This time I was inspired by saffron. This highly regarded, noble spice is known for its versatility all around the world. It ties perfectly to the wrap blended from unique yarns. "Rêves de la lune- le safran" is in a warm, burgundy shade interwoven with lighter bits of ginger, yellow, orange, reds and golds - the staple colors of the saffron plant.

This wrap is made of eucalyptus yarn, which is a soft and silky plant-based yarn with a beautiful, subtle sheen. But eucalyptus isn’t just great for the environment - this yarn is extremely beautiful, luxuriously soft, and highly absorbent. That makes it perfect for all seasons, especially for hot summer days. The eucalyptus threads are interwoven with tussah silk, merino wool, and yak - an unusual and unique yarn that makes the sling light and soft; rarer than cashmere, ethically sourced, antibacterial and antiallergic, delicate as a mist and soft as a cloud. This particular blend of fabrics is one of the best combinations You could use for Your child - it is sure to make them feel safe and comfortable. Wraps mixed with merino wool and yak yarn are also perfect for the weather in warmer places. They have thermoregulatory properties, so the baby doesn’t overheat, and thanks to the whole mix, the wrap is extremely airy.

I weave Wild Slings wraps on my own loom which guarantees them the highest quality and attention to every detail. Every wrap is also steam cleaned before being sent.

40% - soft eucalyptus

10% - mulesing free merino wool

35% - tussah

15% - yak
