Dear Wild Slings' Friends,
For the first time in the history of Wild Slings, I am pleased to present you a wrap woven from milk yarn. After studying the properties of this yarn for a long time, I found it to be the perfect match with my incredibly symbolic "L'espace" pattern. The uniqueness of the wrap is also emphasized by the fact that I weaved only 10 pieces of this piece of art.
It took me a long time to create the "L'espace" pattern, but time did not matter, because I wanted to transfer my thoughts to the project as accurately as possible. This project is a metaphor for freedom, an invaluable value for me, which invariably inspires, moves and drives me to act.
With my new wrap, I wanted to capture the essence of nature's power. A majestic whale leaping out of the foaming sea, which becomes an uncontrolled element. The triangle the whale is heading to is a mystical transition between reality and dreams, symbiosis with the universe, and a balance between the tranquility of the night sky and the power of a stormy ocean.
It is a wrap that is extremely precise in details and in arranging the entire composition on the loom. Deep black is intertwined with grays and whites as well as dozens of shades of blue, violet and sea turquoise. It's a mesmerizing piece of art.
And most importantly - to create it, I used milk yarn, which in its texture is silky, delicate and a bit fluffy. This is an extremely strong, natural yarn which is perfect for alergics and delicate skin - even for those who are allergic to dairy products. Nowadays it is made by using only natural ingredients, thanks to which it fulfills all my dreams of a sensitive skin-friendly wrap. This fiber feels like a combination of silk and cashmere, making products woven from it stunningly soft and unique. By combining it with certified Pima cotton, I created a breathable wrap, light, but compact to the touch - extremely durable, at the same time not being stiff or thick. Thanks to this mixture, the wrap works perfectly, tightens well and looks phenomenal all the time. It is perfect both for the first reeling of a newborn and for carrying older, even four-year-old children - it is strong and roomy, which makes it even more wonderful.
I weave Wild Slings wraps on my own loom which guarantees them the highest quality and attention to every detail. Every wrap is also steam cleaned before being sent.

A photographer, designer, tattoo artist. An animal lover, vegetarian, heavy sound enthusiast, aesthete…
But above all, a father of three wonderful kids, a babywearing activist and a supporter of the attachment parenting.
Everything I love became an inspiration to create the Wild Slings.
