Dear Wild Slings' Friends,

Today I present you another, unique wrap from my summer collection of nocotton wraps. The patron of this wrap is both a dignified bear and smoky quartz, whose magical power is also to add physical strength and courage. For a balance of power I weaved this wrap in extremely soft blend and amazing combination of colors. To emphasize its uniqueness, I woven only 10 of these wraps, and there will never be more of them.

It can be said that smoky quartz is the national jewel of Scotland, a country with a very long history with this stone - starting with the Celts. To the ancient Druids and Celts, smoky quartz was a sacred stone, a pure but earthy color to symbolize the enormous dark power of earthly gods and goddesses. Originally, smoke quartz was an ornament of highlander's clothing, with time daggers and weapon handles, until today it has survived in the classic national costumes of the Scots. In many parts of the world, smoky quartz was believed to be a guardian against misfortune. Ornaments made of this stone were hung in houses to protect the household against the evil coming from the afterlife.

Due to its properties, this stone allows you to build a foundation on which spiritual strength can manifest in the physical body. It also helps to use the power of intuition in everyday life. Smoky quartz is a stone good for regaining physical energy and removing energy blockages. Its energy promotes the purification of toxic energies. Smoky Quartz is a stone recommended for people who find it particularly difficult to make changes in their lives for fear of the unknown. These types of people, although they are not satisfied with the current state of affairs, cannot find the courage to break away from unhealthy relationships, habits or their own passivity. They simply do not believe in their abilities and therefore do nothing to change their plight. The energy of Smoky Quartz allows you to overcome your own shyness and fear of change, as it builds courage and self-esteem.

I combined the enormous strength of this stone with the power of the bear. Bear as the archetype of the mother, representing the mother's strength and protection at the same time. People have always worshiped bears with great respect, paying tribute to this extraordinary size and dignity of this wonderful animal. The bear has been a symbol of strength and courage, perseverance and maternal and brotherly love for centuries. Combining these two great forces, I realized that the number of wraps in this pattern and blend would be very small. It is a very strong, wonderful talisman. The exceptional power and protection that his newcomers will get, will certainly have an unimaginable impact on their life. Surrounded by the care and beauty of this small piece of art, you will surely face every day's difficulties every day with a smile and power in your wild heart.

When you look at a lump of smoky quartz, you have an overwhelming impression that it is nothing more than clouds of smoke locked for ages under the glassy surface of the quartz. The feeling that something more is hidden under the original, I have also when I look at this wrap. This deep brown and beige wrap is mostly woven from the wonderful tussah silk, its beautiful colored numbs decorated the entire wrap, with caramel and light mosaic. Linen and bamboo add extra lightness, airiness, but also durability and flexibility to the wrap. You will happily rock a newborn as well as an older child in it. This wrap is cotton-free, which makes it as unique as the stone, the power of which protects the wrap. Each fringes from this wrap is woven by hand, plus I only woven 10 of this wrap and there will never be more. Such beauty should be emphasized with additional uniqueness.

I weave Wild Slings wraps on my own loom which guarantees them the highest quality and attention to every detail. Every wrap is also steam cleaned before being sent.
