The breezy blue color is a combination of teal turquoise strong hemp and dark ocean blue merino. Natural white organic cotton adds softness and brings out the beautiful Kide pattern! The cotton-hemp-wool blend combines all the good qualities of hemp and wool. Hemp fibers give strength and great support - wool makes the wrap soft & fluffy. Vanamo wrap is diagonally elastic and moldable. The special weaving gives optimum support for the baby as well as the parent. Hemp and wool are breathable & thermoregulating materials. This wrap works great in hot and humid climates. And it feels equally comforting in the chilly autumn and winter days. Vanamo tri-blends are great wraps for heavy babies and toddlers. Our hemp tri-blends are somewhat sturdier than the tri-blends with linen. A new wrap can feel stiff at first but the fabric will soften up gradually when you start using it. Wash and iron with plenty of steam and the wrap will fluff up considerably.
Vanamo Kide fabric is a complex mixture of twill and tabby weaves which create the unique structured, porous and comfortable baby wrap. The rich crystal pattern was inspired by the old handwoven Finnish linen textiles. After the first washing the fabric will fluff up and the unique texture appears.

How to care for your Vanamo wrap: Machine wash in cold water (30 Celcius) with wool program or delicate's cycle, hang dry, ironing with low heat. Ironing while still a little damp or use steam. NO tumble-drying!
We recommend washing the baby wrap before you start using it. The wrap will become softer and easier to wrap with after washing & ironing, and the fabric will obtain it's optimum structure and density. Each baby wrap includes some extra length for shrinking.
