On May 2019 Vanamo Woven Wraps visited Denmark at the Babywearing festival in the city of Aalborg. Vanamo Kide Egholm was woven for the festival and it was inspired by the beautiful nature of the island of Egholm. The weave combines the great qualities of soft organic cotton, strong and cool linen and luxurious bourette silk. The wrap is strong and supportive yet soft and thin to the touch. Suitable for babies of different ages and toddlers. An illustrated instructions manual will be included (English).

The weave is a beautiful mixture of soft night blue & brisk turquoise organic cotton, green linen and silk. The combination of linen & silk makes the wrap light & airy - yet strong and supportive. Although the linen-silk Vanamo wrap is cool and airy for the summer, the wrap can be used during all seasons. Kide weave is diagonally elastic which means that the baby wrap gives an optimum support for the baby and feels comfortable for both the wearer and baby. This medium weight wrap is great for babies of all ages as well as toddlers. Kide Egholm will soften up quite quickly by using and wearing.
Vanamo Kide fabric is a complex mixture of twill and tabby weaves which create the unique structured, porous and comfortable baby wrap. The rich crystal pattern was inspired by the old handwoven Finnish linen textiles. After the first washing the fabric will fluff up and the unique texture appears.

How to care for your Vanamo wrap:
Hand wash in cold water (30 celcius), hang or flat dry, iron with low heat. Use steam of iron the wrap while still a little damp. NO tumble-drying!
We recommend washing the baby wrap before you start using it. The wrap will become softer and easier to wrap with after washing & ironing, and the fabric will obtain it's optimum structure and density. Each baby wrap includes some extra length for shrinking.
