Folk Himalaya is a robust, heavyweight wrap. Thanks to our Airy Triweave and merino blend it is also fluffy and has a little stretch. Folk Himalaya was woven and meant for heavy babies and toddlers. Your shoulders will be thankful for this wrap. It is not suitable for newborns. This wrap needs a little breaking in, but it is worth it :) (Linen yarn (white) has naturally uneven structure. Merino wool (black) can be more visible in some places. This is not a fault and the wrap can be used.)
We are two sisters who decided to make baby wraps using our own original designs. Traditional Slovak motifs and ornaments are our inspiration as a reminder of the times when carrying babies in wraps was totally natural and went without saying.
Design is important, however, quality is even more so. Therefore we look for yarns that match the highest criteria. We ensure that our yarns are also suitable for the youngest babies. After all, we use these wraps for our own babies.
