This beautiful ‘Luxe’ fabric is woven on a stunning BCI organic cotton gemstone gradation inspired by the malachite crystal, from emerald green to a charcoal black. Golden silk, shiny black Tencel and cotton alternate throughout this weft to create the intricate textures of our Victoriana design.
This elegant fabric is woven with our special hybrid weave technique that allows us to use multiple colours to highlight different areas of the pattern for a unique look.
Luxurious Bourette silk gives this fabric a lovely cush for comfy carries for you and your little one. Together with cotton, it creates a very strong and supportive fabric that is slightly on the thicker side making it perfect for carrying toddlers and bigger children. This fabric also benefits from having Tencel in its weft which gives it a hint of shimmer & makes the hybrid weave more malleable. Tencel is a yarn made from wood pulp using a closed loop system, softer and stronger than most cottons it also uses much less water and land making it a great eco-friendly alternative.
By using BCI cotton we ensure that our cotton meets the Better Cotton Initiative’s high standards of environmental, economic and social responsibility. Our BCI cotton is also organic, meaning it is grown with care and without chemicals keeping the land, and farmers, healthy.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS: Hand washing is recommended, although a silk cycle on a known reliable machine may be used at your own risk. Use a suitable silk detergent. Hang to dry, avoiding direct sunlight and iron on a cool setting.
