A first for Danishquirks, this wrap contains no sheeps' wool at all. Instead, I've indulged and made a wrap made from luxurious, softest grey cashmere, combined with beautiful off-white silk in a classic herringbone pattern.
Cashmere is made from the undercoat of the cashmere goat. Having all the great properties of wool, cashmere is even softer, more insulating, and contains no lanolin, which makes Lykke the perfect wrap if you, or your little one, is sensitive to sheeps' wool. Or if you just want something fantastic. ;)
When I touched the fabric for the first time, I immediately thought of my son when he was just born - this is what I would have wanted to wrap him in, hence the name "Lykke", which translates to profound joy or happiness. The feeling I had when I held my baby for the first time <3
Lykke is very soft and requires no breaking in.
