Stork - in the culture of the Slavs it is a creature associated with stimulation of fertility. Its appearance was identified with love, marriage and parenthood. It was believed that birds flying above the house heralded the upcoming birth. Special requests to the storks were used, such as "Stork, sharp stork, bring me two sisters". During the birth of a child, one person would dress up as a stork to wish the birthday boy and promise his parents another child. However, maidens were forbidden to look at storks for fear of getting pregnant.
To this day, the stork is associated with the arrival of a child in the world.
The Bociany Sling is different than any other - it is universal. Its colors are neutral, delicate, subtle, perfectly matching both the girl and the boy. The darker, beige side can be used every day, while the white one fits perfectly to such occasions as a christening or a wedding.
The multidimensionality of this scarf is best shown in its two-sidedness.
