The banana fiber is an amazing, eco- friendly textile. Banana yarn is strong, soft and lightweight and feels almost like wool. When it is mixed with cotton, it creates a very supportive, yet soft ring sling with a very good grip, perfect for bigger babies and toddlers.
It has a wonderful, uneven structure with lots of nubs, irregularities and curls, which creates a raw and fabulous look, very different from all other fibers.
