On a beautiful spring day almost 2 years ago we went to the hospital to give birth to our second child, a baby boy that we had grown to love even before we laid our eyes on him. The labour only took 2 hours and he was perfect. He was big and he was very handsome with the cutest dimples in both cheeks.
Storm was different than our daughter Isabell. He loved breastfeeding and could continue so for hours. He did not feel safe unless he was being held - even in his sleep. We really wanted to give him all the closeness and safety that he needed, but at the same time we saw how our daughter struggled with the change. When Storm was 3 months old, he already weight 10 kg and he was too heavy to carry around. We became desperate for a solution. This was when we finally discovered babywearing.
