Bifrost Seafoam
Bifrost Seafoam is a heavyweight 100% combed cotton, Synergy weave woven wrap with a dark indigo face and a bright rainbow face.
It is woven with our Synergy weave and is a dense and sturdy cloth with lots of stretch and recoil. It is a great woven wrap for heavier wrappees yes still manageable enough to use with a small baby.
Scarf cloth is woven using the same yarns but in the alchemy weave to create a softer, more drapey feel.

**Please note that these woven wraps are ‘loom state’ and will require washing before first wear. This first wash will set the weave, fluff up the cotton and clean out dust that has accumulated during weaving and hemming, so is an essential part of the process**
The price includes postage to the UK. Postage within Europe is £8 per 2kg parcel and to the rest of the world is just £10 per 2kg parcel.
Firespiral is the creation of Tamsin and Jen. We are passionate about woven wraps and had a shared dream to one day have our own designs woven. We live in an area with a wonderful weaving heritage and have been lucky enough to work with a very skillful weaving company capable of weaving something really special. Our designs are inspired by the universal patterns in nature that stray into both science and myth; the magical way in which we are connected to the world and its rhythms. We live at the edge of the west pennine moors, surrounded by stone circles, local legend and the wild beauty of the hillside, with the shadows of the cotton mills in the valley below. We feel a real sense of belonging to the ancient landscape and it is from this wonderful place that our inspiration takes shape. Some of our designs are an exploration of naturally occurring pattern, and some could be more accurately described as 'story cloths'. We both have creative backgrounds, Tamsin from an architectural viewpoint and bringing her experience of transforming wraps under the guise of violet chameleon, Jen as an artist and art psychotherapist. We want our woven wraps to be both artistically beautiful and take on deeper personal meanings for their wearers.
