The hemp used in Argus Signature has ecologically grown in western Europe and is processed and spun in Italy. It is a natural product with an incomparable durability. Hemp is able to absorb a lot of water, a characteristic that makes it an ideal fibre for babywearing in higher temperatures. It will become very soft and gentle with wear and use and will not irritate the skin. The hypoallergenic properties and high humidity absorption qualities make hemp a very suitable material for spring and summer although the isolating and thermoregulating properties will make it comfortable all year round. The quality of the used hemp is the highest available and has very few irregularities, although minor nubs and slubs occasionally occur.
Egyptian cotton is the longest-staple cotton available. We use only the best Egyptian cotton, which is soft and strong and guarantees a long life. The cotton is handpicked and roller ginned in order to preserve its unique fiber characteristics.
The combination of the world’s best hemp and cotton stands for a soft, strong and exquisite wrap that can be used from birth for as long as desired by both parent and child.
