Little Fellows twill from Strickler's Fairytail Wrap (hemp, mulberry silk)

These pieces were absolutely a pleasure to dye and weave; the subtle pastel tones, colour shifts and sparkles together make for subtle beauty.

All hand-dyed custom, Pima warp with over 300 sparkle threads; hand-dyed silk noil, hand-dyed cottohemp, mulberry silk and marine silk wefts. Two pieces are reversing heart weave (an adaptation of Judie Eatough's draft) and a twill from Strickler's 'Book of 8 Shaft Weaves' known to LF followers as 'vortex' for ease of memory.
