The original design was used by the Ruckers family in Antwerp as decorative papers for virginals in the 1600-1700s. Grant O'Brien extensively studied the Ruckers family and their designs, and wrote a definitive work on the subject. Dr. O'Brien pored over historical documents and design books and began carving wood blocks by hand, producing detailed prints.

We are members of the BCIA (Baby Carrier Industry Alliance) an industry group who has an active role in writing the ASTM safety standards for baby carrier products in North America.

We pride ourselves on being able to design and manufacture in Canada, sourcing our materials from Europe, Canada and the United States.
