It is time for our American Quilt journey to take us in another direction. We have meandered through the forest with so many highlights along our trip, but now as we add a new dimension to our quilts in the form of an Egyptian and combed cotton blend, we felt it was time for a walk on the wild side.
Born from the success of our AQ prototypes in Summer 2016, AQ Gotham is the first full release in the new (and amazing!) AQ blend! Still holding the 100% cotton claim to fame, and full of easy-care goodness, the addition of combed cotton just ramps up the softness and mouldability from day one!
AQ Gotham is 76% combed cotton and 24% Egyptian cotton, with a gsm of approximately 320 after washing and wearing.
It is a beautiful play on a palette of grey, navy and black in the much loved American Quilt design. Gotham seems to have both a lightness and darkness to it that are captivating.

My vision for wraps wasn’t simply to introduce another wrap to the market. I wanted to create innovative wraps, woven from luxurious materials that were designed, manufactured and sold in the UK and abroad. Whether a mum is new or already familiar with babywearing products, I wanted my products to be lovingly conceived and appeal to all.
Woven Wings Baby wraps are woven in the UK in a renowned Mill specialising solely in bespoke high-end quality textiles. Established since 1720 working in collaboration with luxury Fashion houses and couture designers they produce fabrics that are of the highest quality and demand. Fibres are carefully and ethically sourced, and all yarns are dyed in-house allowing for one-of-kind colours. Some of my wraps will feature our non-chemical luxurious finish which makes them blankety soft straight out of the bag and requires no breaking in.
