When I'm looking for an inspiration in the nature, I always try to catch its magical mysticism.
To see more than can be seen at a glance.
This time it was not different.
My inspiration was a cat. An animal with a magnetic look, always associated with magic and mystery. For centuries related with the sphere of spells and the power of spiritualism.
Worshipped already in ancient Egypt in the form of the goddess Bastet - guardian of love and home fire.
I wanted to draw such a cat; illuminated by the moonlight, in full majesty of its perfect form. The wisdom of nature guards the peaceful sleep of a child in the arms of their beloved parent.
I decided to reach again for the most universal blend that is delicate and at the same time strong - safe, soft and supportive; ideal for both newbie and a few years old toddler:

A photographer, designer, tattoo artist. An animal lover, vegetarian, heavy sound enthusiast, aesthete…
But above all, a father of three wonderful kids, a babywearing activist and a supporter of the attachment parenting.
Everything I love became an inspiration to create the Wild Slings.
