Do you remember the moment when your child came to this world? The silence is interrupted by a cry, the whole world changes in an instant.
Searching for inspiration in the world of nature I thought about a volcano eruption – the most extraordinary, fascinating fusion of light and sound.
When I was thinking about the new face of such a symbolical design like "Les ténèbres", I wanted its next face to be spectacular.
Reaching for one of the most remarkable and beautiful blends, I decided its colour had to be exceptional and unique.
Lava is an element – the fire red intermingle with clouds of white smoke and glide on the black wall of the volcano.
When I chose tussah, I wanted each colour to have its own place, without dominating others.
I wanted to watch them dance entwined in one another. I think I managed to do that.
"Lava" is a wrap made, as I always have, from highest quality yarns.
It will cuddle a newbie just the same as it will a curious of the world few-year-old.
It is beautiful, strong and amazing, without losing any of tussah’s delicateness. It is the most spectacular out of all my wraps so far, the colour I had to reach out for and its most beautiful variation.
Who’s behind all of this?
A photographer, designer, tattoo artist. An animal lover, vegetarian, heavy sound enthusiast, aesthete…
But above all, a father of three wonderful kids, a babywearing activist and a supporter of the attachment parenting.
Everything I love became an inspiration to create the Wild Slings.
