Dear Wild Slings' Friends,
The photo session of the wrap, which I am presenting to you today, reminds us of summer, time of rest and carefree joy. However, the pattern of this wrap is "La Reine", dignified, hardworking bees, which perfectly fits the message and inspiration for weaving this wrap - mystical strength and wisdom, the eternal interweaving of forces and opposites - Yin Yang.
Everything in life happens at its right time and in the right place. Even if we do not always understand all the intentions of mother nature and the universe, everything is working in accordance with the eternal order. Light meets darkness, good and evil, rest and work. Without one, we wouldn't be able to appreciate the other. I try to go with the wind, surrounding my family with love and teaching our children to love, understand and be patient that sometimes knowledge comes with time.
The concept of Yin and Yang comes from ancient Chinese philosophy and metaphysics. It describes the two primary and opposite but complementary forces that can be found throughout the universe. The interplay of Yin and Yang is the cause of all things arising and changing. This is why I decided that the combination of these forces would be a great inspiration to create this monochrome wrap, decorated with proud, beautiful bees and crowns.
I decided to use this original blend with organic eucalyptus wood fiber. Thanks to that the fabric is soft and smooth and very velvety to the touch. It has breathable properties, and the fibers regulate temperature and absorb moisture, so the wrap will be great also on hot days. The material is durable, does not shrink or stretch. What is also very important it is especially recommended for people with sensitive skin and allergy sufferers, so it will be perfect from the first days of a newborn's life. The black and white wrap is a timeless classic that blends in perfectly with all other colors. Its softness is poetry for the skin, it will be a great choice for both newborns and older children, because it is very durable and will surely serve you for a long, long time.
I weave Wild Slings wraps on my own loom which guarantees them the highest quality and attention to every detail. Every wrap is also steam cleaned before being sent.
