Summer is coming and I feel it more and more clearly. Days are already very warm, sunny and long. It rains from time to time, but not the cold and gray one that has recently been hosted, but warm and fragrant of young grass, fresh leaves, flowers and sweet fruit.
That's why I like summer. The multitude of fruit that we can enjoy at this time is innumerable.
I have always liked walking into the woods, discovering its secrets and using the table that he always covered with care.
Raspberries, blackberries, blueberries, wild strawberries - all the treasures of forests on my plate, now also on my latest wrap.
This amazing version of the wrap with hard-working bees and Queen Anna's lace, in fantastic forest fruit color with the addition of tussah nubs - green, blue and purple bring to mind delicious summer fruit desserts.
I decided once again to use the motif of a bee and this special plant called „Queen Anne’s lace” to express my admiraton for this wonderful insect. There are a lot of meadows near my house, so I am just waiting for real spring and summer as I can watch them together. How they cooperate to make pleasure to Mother Nature, how they make sure that this year all juicy and wonderful forest fruits appear on our table.
What is more, this special blend make this wrap a real piece of art.
It is 270 gsm of an extremely soft and strong wrap made of:
50% organic Pima cotton
10% bamboo
40% two different shades of tussah silk
"Dentelle de la reine Anne – Fruits de la forêt” is a very savage blend composition, ideal for summer. It’s perfect for a new born child but even a few years old toddler would be light as a feather.
I weave Wild Slings wraps on our own loom which guarantees them the highest quality and attention to every detail.
