It’s a long time since I created my first wrap.
From that time I have been working very hard every day on new ideas, blends and on striving for perfection. For some time I wanted to create something complely new but as well belonging to my magical world.
A few day ago I went out to the forest very early in the morning, in the dawning of the day. It was still dark and very cold after a long autumnal night. The nature seemed dormant, covered with a light blanket of the first frosts. While observing plants, still green but clouded by white and blue mist, a new project for Wild Slings came to my mind.
As you know the bear, to me, is a symbol of a wise and patient parent who follows the needs of their cubs, protects them and will always fight for them. Wrapped in an aureole of ancient runes, it is an apotheosis of divinity. Unconditional love for children is the highest value for me, and vegvisir is a compass that shows the way on the intricate path of parenthood.
And so, the warmth of parenthood is intertwined with the wildness of nature, symbols and beliefs of ancient cultures with modern attachment parenthood and the severity of blends with the highest quality and delicacy dedicated to baby skin.
I reached again for that breathtaking desing but this time in not-obvious colourway and blend. Soft and at the same time strong cotton with delicate tussah is a wonderful choice for a newborn and a toddler as well.

I weave Wild Slings wraps on our own loom which guarantees them the highest quality and attention to every detail.

Who’s behind all of this?
A photographer, designer, tattoo artist. An animal lover, vegetarian, heavy sound enthusiast, aesthete…
But above all, a father of three wonderful kids, a babywearing activist and a supporter of the attachment parenting.
Everything I love became an inspiration to create the Wild Slings.
