/First custom Wild Slings/
Today’s release is exceptional and magical. Please take a seat, I will tell you a story about a dream.
As you know, every release so far originated in my inspiration from nature, starting from the moment when it appears in my head, pouring it to paper, selecting the yarns and finally weaving the wrap.
This time it was a bit different. These last few months were very special for me; I met many extraordinary parents from all over the Globe, and even though lots of these relations are virtual, I am extremely touched by your commitment in the realisation of my project – the perfect quality wraps, created in harmony with nature and with love towards children.
A few months ago a wonderful mother asked me to create her a custom. She told me how she pictures it and which design she finds most connected to. She also told me a story that made me take up the challenge of creating this project.
The project that took many weeks to complete, and today I have the pleasure to present it to you.
The story she told is very personal and I must admit, that I have been really moved by the fact that she chose me to weave this dream for her.
A few years ago a woman, that dreamed so much of becoming o mum, lost her child. At the same time she had been told, that unfortunately she will not be able to have children. Despite that she tried to get pregnant for many years – without success. At that point she gave up hope and accepted the fact, that she will not become a mother.
On December 24th 2016 first snow fell in her country. And with the snow came a wonderful news – she was pregnant.
That is why she asked for her custom to bare a name relating to the day that changed her life - Miracle d'Hiver ( winter miracle).
Custom Miracle d'Hiver is the crowning of all I love most in creating wraps.
It is a fulfilment of a dream, with a beautiful inspiration behind. It is also a tribute to the parenthood of closeness, the one that is one of the most amazing experiences of my life.
It is not only a weaved dream but also a symbol that gives strength to believe in ones dreams and an unconditional love, that the mother from my story wanted to share with all of you.
Miracle d’Hiver is also a remarkable composition of yarns, that we chose together.
It is 280 gsm of a phenomenal fusion of 5 yarns in navy and blue colorwa:
45% Egyptian combed cotton
30% tussah
15% bamboo
5% cashmere
5% organic pima cotton
Enriched with marvellous, hand-tied fringes
This is an amazing and exceptional wrap, elegant, soft and incomparable with anything else.
Because it is a custom, only 3 of these wraps have been made.
The first one is already in its home, where it had been awaited for the last couple months.

Who’s behind all of this?
A photographer, designer, tattoo artist. An animal lover, vegetarian, heavy sound enthusiast, aesthete…
But above all, a father of three wonderful kids, a babywearing activist and a supporter of the attachment parenting.
Everything I love became an inspiration to create the Wild Slings.
It’s the first in the world original wrap design studio which enshrines
closeness, expressive design and being eco-friendly.
We use only ethical and certified materials of the highest quality. Wild Slings means: original designs created with passion by a father for conscious modern parents and their children.
