Rigel is woven on a warp with teals, purples and blues with a cherry weft that changes the colors completely.
This weft has the same wrapping qualities as pebble and black weft. It is approx. 282 g/m2 post wash (before wearing so this will go down a little post wear) and approx 28.5" wide post wash.
Rigel is a 100% cotton wrap that can be used from birth to toddler. It has the perfect amount of stretch and support which allows the smallest of babies to be worn close as well as those flailing toddlers who love to try and escape. It has the right amount of grip to keep a slip knot in place, but not too much that keeps the passes from gliding right into place. Overall this wrap is good for new or experienced wrappers and would be a great wrap to any collection.
Shiny Star Designs is a company born out of babywearing love. We are a military and WAHM owned business who travel the world while babywearing, learning the ways it can help every family and every baby. Our soft structured baby carriers are currently being made by a fellow WAHM and amazing seamstress in Durham, North Carolina, while all of our woven wraps are woven then cut and hemmed in North Carolina as well. We strive to support local, and one of our main goals is to keep as much as possible in North Carolina, where Madison, the owner, was born and raised.
We currently offer wrap conversion full buckles, mei tais, podaegis, ring slings, and reverse half buckles.
