The history of our poppies

One of the most beautiful habits in British Islands is wearing the well known red poppy badge due to Rememberance Day on November 11th. In Poland, 11th of November is Independence Day. The English habit of those celebrations is also connected with the end of the World War I. Popular in many countries, Poppy Day, known also as Poppy Appeal, commemorates people killed in both World Wars. While weaving this wrap, we wanted to pay attention to two things. Firstly, we think, that our children are the most beautiful flowers in the garden of our lives. Secondly, we want to pay homage to those, thanks to whom we may upbring our kids in peace.
