Named for the legendary mythical island nation, this dramatic design of the Okinami pattern is woven with our unique hybrid weave technique on a striking dark jewel gradation, from midnight blue to rich plum tones and burgundy.
Woven with a blended Merino lambswool and cotton yarn in dark navy and natural white Supima cotton, this fabric is very soft, bouncy and has a wonderful cush for the shoulders. Merino lambswool is strong and supportive, with temperature regulating properties to keep you warm on cold days, and cool in warm weather
Supima cotton is a long staple cotton that offers wonderful durability to this fabric as well as a subtle shimmer. This densely woven fabric is perfect for comfortably carrying toddlers and bigger children.
Hybrid weave is a special technique that allows us to use multiple colours to highlight different areas of the pattern for a unique look.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS: Hand washing is recommended, although a wool cycle on a known reliable machine may be used at your own risk. Use a suitable silk detergent. Lay flat to dry and iron on a cool setting.
