CARE INSTRUCTIONS: Hand washing is recommended, although a silk cycle on a known reliable machine may be used at your own risk. Use a suitable silk detergent. Hang to dry, avoiding direct sunlight and iron on a cool setting.

The coloured flecks are a characteristic of Shantung silk, adding a gorgeous look to each piece of fabric. This stunning design comes to life on a BCI cotton deep indigo blue backdrop. The mythical Kelpie is said to be a supernatural water horse that haunted Scotland’s lochs and lonely rivers. We like to think that the Kelpies in this design represent protection of Scottish mythical creatures and cultural design. Read more about the Kelpies design on our blog (will add link). The luxurious blended Shantung silk and viscose yarn brings the support and strength of Shantung silk and the malleability of a viscose yarn for a mouldable but strong fabric with a gentle cush. It will provide comfy carries for little ones from 3 months onward through toddlerhood. By using BCI cotton we ensure that our cotton meets the Better Cotton Initiative’s high standards of environmental, economic and social responsibility. Our BCI cotton is also organic, meaning it is grown with care and without chemicals keeping the land, and farmers, healthy.
At Oscha Slings we produce beautiful, high quality wrap around slings (wraps) & ring slings that are carefully designed and developed for you to carry your baby. Our fabric is woven in the UK and Ireland, and then hand-crafted into babywearing slings in Scotland.
