Gorgeous snow-capped peaks atop a desert southwest mountain range in the next of Bijou's Eco2cotton/cotton blend releases: Sandia Mountains. Named for a mountain range near Albuquerque, New Mexico, with Sandia Bijou has turned an iconic mountain range skyline into a beautiful USA-woven textile.
Lose yourself in the intriguing depth of the delightfully nubby variegated neutral yarn on the darker side of Sandia. Eco2cotton® yarn is made of recycled cotton products -- think of the cuttings that would otherwise fall to the floor at a t-shirt factory. What a fabulous idea! This particular USA-spun oatmeal yarn is not over-dyed, but rather retains the original colors of the garment factory scraps collected and then recycled into a new yarn.
The linework of the mountains create textured ridges that are guaranteed to lock down the rowdiest of toddlers. The ecru side is soft and silky, while the darker side is flannelly and grippy without being rough. Eco2 transforms with use, thinning out in hand and becoming truly floppy over time.
Ring slings in this fabric may be available >here<. Similarly, check our >Style + Home< section for throw blankets and scarves that might be in stock as well!
Layaway is always an option. Please use code RESERVE as you check out.
The color varies with the light. These beautiful photos by Joyous Photography represent the range of looks Sandia achieves, but despite these efforts the color may be slightly different in person than it appears on your screen.
