We are excited to be bringing Rubix to the Australian Babywearing Conference in Adelaide. With only a few weeks to go we wish to offer a pre-order to Conference goers. If you are attending the conference as a delegate or visiting the Expo then you are entitled to reserve your wrap or ring sling now.
We are accepting 50% and full payment options this Friday, 10th April, 2015.
Rubix Ink: a medium to heavy weight monochromatic piece is the ultimate black and white wrap! Stylish, classy and striking. Ink starts as an ecru cotton warp and is woven with a black cotton weft.
This densely woven wrap plays host to varying shades of black, grey and white. Rubix Ink will take some time to break in, but for the time you put into him, he will reward you. Thick, smooth and blankety Rubix Ink will hug you in all the right places, but be forgiving on sloppy wrap jobs for the novice Babywearer.
Incredibly toddler worthy weighing in at 303gsm loom state, a wash sees the GSM rise to a hefty 345. It does well in both single layer carries and multi layer carries. His knot will be large and solid.
Retail Prices Rubix Ink: Ring Sling (Gathered or Belloborn Hybrid) $175, Size 2 - $185, Size 3 - $190, Size 4 - $195, Size 5 - $200, Size 6 - $205, Size 7 - $210
An Ankalia wrap or ring sling is designed to be an effective parenting tool in your day to day life. Our carriers will allow you to get the basic tasks done while keeping your baby or toddler close. Our carriers will help you with anything from the vacuuming to shopping on a holiday at the beach, with your child right by your side.
Making sure that Ankalia is made within Australia is important to us. Many manufacturers are obsessed with producing their products as cheaply as possible, which generally means sending their wares offshore to be produced. We wanted Ankalia to be Australian designed, woven, and hand finished, as the babywearing world was calling for a premier Australian product - and we need to be satisfied that our fabrics are made in an ethical manner. Our designs are hand sketched by local artisans, and their trade and skill is transformed into fabrics literally designed to embrace your babies.
