Black Rock City is a diamond in the rough. For most of the year it is a bare piece of desert. For one week burners from all over the world make their way to Black Rock City for what is described as an experiment in community and art. Burning Man brings people together who share common views on inclusion, self reliance, self expression while respecting each other, their surroundings, and their community. Burning Man happens once a year but lives on in the hearts of burners all year long. Their passion burns brightest when the community returns every year for new festival. People meet, bonds are formed, love is fallen into and this forms the family that will live in each others hearts forever. A burner burns forever and that flame never burns out. That passion burns bright forever in their family, their children, and in the community they are a part of. Black Rock is a Diamond in the desert burning bright for all to see and celebrate. Black Rock Diamond celebrates the love, the values, and each member of the family that burns brightly forever.
Nancy is planning on using our natural, blue, charcoal, and purple flax blend yarn for weft as well as dark blue cotton, purple cotton, and natural cotton. What weft colours would you like to see?

West 4th Tribute to Mothers
Tribute to Mothers is the combination of Nancy's favorite colour, orange and her mom's favorite colour, pink, and the pureness of natural cotton to represent the new born baby. One rail is orange and grads through natural in the center. The natural transitions to a solid pink section on the other rail. This wrap has two distinctive presentations when tied.... a pink one and an orange one.... depending on which side you choose as your top rail.
All of our West 4th Accessible Wraps are 100% cotton and are machine woven in a plain weave. Why are our wraps plain weave? Its simple.... Nancy's fabric is perfect for wrapping your little ones and holding them close.
Tribute to Mothers, and each of our Accessible wraps, use the same cotton as our handwoven wraps, they wrap just like our handwoven wraps with the prefect amount of glide to allow you to make perfect passes and the right amount of grip to make sure your wrap is secure.
All of our Accessible wraps come with the unique babywrap features that Nancy developed while leading the resurgence in handweaving of baby wraps... her unique innovations such as distinctive rails so you know which side of the wrap to tighten and a middle marker, our folded "W", to help you easily find the middle to start wrapping!
All of our wraps come in our size small (3.0m), medium small (3.8m), medium (4.2m) large (4.6m) and XLarge (5.2m) as well as in a ring sling with our gathered shoulder.

Her weaving and design experience shine through in West 4th Wraps. Each West 4th Wrap has unique design features that were pioneered by Nancy specifically for baby wearing. The soft and supple fabric is like a second skin with excellent grip to give new and experienced wearers the ease of wrapping.
West 4th Wraps are completely handmade! As such, there may be small nubs, thickened threads, weaver's knots, etc. These are not flaws and Heart-Hugs will not accept returns or issue partial refunds due to these normal variations. Handwoven wraps are truly a labor of love and these simply add to the character!

Earth is based on the colours of soil found within the earth. The one edge has a pinstriped section which leads to a striped section resembling the horizons within the soil. This colour way was inspired by some land formations around central Alberta in the Red Deer River valley where you can see the beautiful rich colours of each of the horizons in the edge of the river valley.
