Dark silk flecks appear in the rolling waves as the sea is illuminated by the dancing Northern Lights. The spectacular scene is picked out in alternating Superwash Cashwool and Bourette silk yarns. The beautiful slubs are characteristic of this yarn and give a unique look to each piece of fabric.

This popular blend creates a wrap which is soft and mouldable, a great all-rounder that is easy to work and is suitable for carrying through to toddlerhood. Cashwash wool is a smooth lightweight wool yarn which offers cush and drape. It also has wonderful temperature regulating properties. The intricate weave of the Matrix pattern perfectly captures the ribbons of colour from the Aurora Borealis. The purples, blues and greens seemingly dance as the dark Bourette silk weaves through the mesmerising symphony of colours. The characteristic nubs and slubs speckle this yarn to give a lovely unique look to each piece of fabric.

Papillons Flare baby wrap shimmers and brings the graceful butterfly design to life. Highlighted in a weft fade of orange and gold linen, the butterflies stand out against the stunning sheen of the Egyption Mako cotton warp. The orange and gold hues of the butterflies complement the purple, cerise, and raspberry pink tones, adding warmth and vibrancy to this shimmering fabric.

Mercerized Egyptian Supima cotton is an extra-long staple cotton known for its softness and sheen. Mercerization is a process that makes the fibres stronger and more resistant to piling. It also improves the depth of colour the fibres can take and gives the fabric an incredible lustre.

Papillons Flare baby wrap is light and thin in hand but, despite its thinness, the linen provides strength and support, making this wrap a great all-rounder for all ages. It wraps easily and has a little more glide than grip. It will break in quickly and will become buttery soft in no time.

A stunning French Baroque pattern appears on a luxurious blend of Superwash Cashwool and Bourette silk. This rarely woven design’s name is inspired by the palace of Versailles which was executed in the French Baroque style, characterised by its large curved forms, twisted columns, high domes, and complicated shapes. Featured on a deep blue background of Superwash Cashwool, the pattern is picked out in a melange vintage indigo shade of Bourette silk . The ecru and indigo nubs and slubs of this silk gives a slight texture to the weft. The overall appearance of this sumptuous fabric is one of timeless elegance.

This is a unique item that is woven on a Superwash Cashwool warp. Cashwool is a specially spun merino wool that is especially smooth and soft to the touch without any woolly prickle and offers cush and a lovely drape. The Bourette silk adds to the cush and lends softness and strength to the blend. The wrap will make a great all-rounder that is both soft and supportive, perfect for carrying your little one close to you.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS: Hand washing is recommended, although a silk cycle on a known reliable machine may be used at your own risk. Use a suitable silk detergent. Hang to dry, avoiding direct sunlight and iron on a cool setting.

The hypnotic and iridescent colours of this fabric are created using a unique shot weaving technique. Crafted with a Hawaiian Blue Mercerised Egyptian Mako cotton warp and an alternating weft of magenta Tencel and dark teal Mako cotton it produces a distinctly beautiful effect. The rolling waves dance across the fabric as the colour appears ever changing, hinting at purple in certain lights with sparkles of lighter teal.

The Mako cotton and Tencel blend gives a balance of comfort and durability. Mako cotton is a long-staple cotton yarn which is uniquely treated to bring out an intense colour. Tencel is moisture-wicking, breathable and smooth. The blend creates a very smooth and mouldable fabric, that is thin in hand yet supportive. It will break in quickly, becoming softer with each use making it a great all-rounder for all ages. It has a little more glide than grip so multi-layer carries are a good option for bigger toddlers.

The thin and airy nature of the fabric will keep your baby cool and comfortable even during warmer days and the stunning colours will brighten even the dullest day.

Tencel is a yarn made from wood pulp using a closed loop system, softer and stronger than most cottons it also uses much less water and land making it a great eco-friendly alternative.

Dear Oscha Community,

I’m delighted to present our Feathers/Polish Sunset semi-custom preorder designs to you.

Based on the Feathered Spectrum inspiration, the colours run from the soft peachy tones of the top half, smoothly transitioning into the vibrant purple middle and deep turquoise bottom half, creating a stunning backdrop for the scenery patterns like Misty Mountains or Okinami.

The colour gradient idea was around for two years and finally resulted in this amazing collection, which will be complemented by Oscha’s own releases on this grad.

The collection features 6 patterns, most named after the mythical birds, including two LOTR ones (Misty Mountains and Doors of Durin) and very limited Okinami release. I also like calling this project the Carriers preorder as many types were ordered, alongside the wraps and accessories. There are five mostly easy care yarn blends.
