King Rilian was the son of legendary King Caspian X of Narnia and Queen Lilliandil, fated to become king himself, and born in Narnian-year 2325. When Rilian was about twenty years old, his mother, Lilliandil was attacked and killed while taking a nap in the northern lands, by a giant green serpent. From then on he always returned to that place, hoping to avenge his mother's death.
However, once up in these northern lands, Rilian became smitten by the appearance of a beautiful woman, dressed in green. He did not know who she was, but once he saw her, he forgot all about the serpent and avenging his mother's death. Whether this was due to the woman's beauty or some form of enchantment is unknown.

John Joly was an Irish physicist, famous for his development of radiotherapy in the treatment of cancer. He is also known for developing techniques to accurately estimate the age of a geological period, based on radioactive elements present in minerals. He invented the first color photographic processes, the Joly Colour process.

Sir William Rowan Hamilton (midnight, 3–4 August 1805 – 2 September 1865) was an Irish physicist, astronomer, and mathematician, who made important contributions to classical mechanics, optics, and algebra. His studies of mechanical and optical systems led him to discover new mathematical concepts and techniques. His best known contribution to mathematical physics is the reformulation of Newtonian mechanics, now called Hamiltonian mechanics. This work has proven central to the modern study of classical field theories such as electromagnetism, and to the development of quantum mechanics. In pure mathematics, he is best known as the inventor of quaternions.

Helen Graham was the mysterious tenant in the Tenant in Wildfell Hall, Anne Brontes final novel, which is considered to be the first sustained feminist novel. In her diary, Helen writes about her husband's physical and moral decline through alcohol, and the world of debauchery and cruelty from which she has fled. This novel of marital betrayal is set within a moral framework tempered by Anne's optimistic belief in universal salvation
May Sinclair, in 1913, said that the slamming of Helen's bedroom door against her husband reverberated throughout Victorian England. In escaping her husband, Helen violates not only social conventions, but also English law.

Introducing another new weave to the Danu repertoire, Boffin. In this weave we are honouring all those fantastic Irish men and women who went that bit further in science.
The first in our series is Bobby I, who remember Robert Boyle, considered one of the founders of modern Chemistry.He is best known for Boyle's law, which describes the inversely proportional relationship between the absolute pressure and volume of a gas, if the temperature is kept constant within a closed system.

Introducing the third in our Cloths of Heaven series. Cloths of Heaven : Raphael
Archangel Raphael is the supreme healer in the angelic realm and chief role is to support, heal, and guide in matters involving health. Raphael means "God heals" or "He who heals" in Hebrew. Many believe that it is derived from the Hebrew word Rophe, which means "medicine doctor. In Catholicism, he is Saint Raphael, the patron of healing, physicals, travlers, and matchmakers.

The Story behind the wrap...
Jewel was a noble creamy-white unicorn with a ice blue horn, and was the best friend of Narnian King Tirian. He was gentle with his friends, but used his horn as a fierce and deadly weapon in battle. Much given to making noble speeches, he was never deceived by the False Aslan. As a respected and rare animal, Jewel was susceptible to being vain and stubborn, but he respected Aslan, and was faithful to him. He often said of Aslan: "He's not a Tame lion."
