Under my Umbrella is our newest linen stockinette!
Created using our triple layer, double pocket-weave it is light and airy whilst maintaining incredible hold. Under my Umbrella is composed of 87% Egyptian cotton and 13% luxury fine linen.
Under my Umbrella has a unique mix of front and reverse- almost acting as 2 completely different wraps! One side features a shimmering silver background with rainbow knits; the reverse is a solid navy background with white and soft rainbow knits.
Under my Umbrella is a micro-release of 10 wraps from February 2020
The linen will change immediately after the first wash and again as it breaks in! As the linen fibres plump and soften, the colour becomes ever more intense. The linen will show some shifting upon first arrival- this is a natural artifact of the fibre and will disappear as the linen breaks in.
Don’t fear the linen! The weave of linen and warp in the top layer creates a soft and airy weave-- this allows the linen to plump and soften more quickly and become the most supple and soft!!! The complex pocket weave creates an unbelievable lightness for lighter babies whilst providing enough support for even (very big) kids!

My vision for wraps wasn’t simply to introduce another wrap to the market. I wanted to create innovative wraps, woven from luxurious materials that were designed, manufactured and sold in the UK and abroad. Whether a mum is new or already familiar with babywearing products, I wanted my products to be lovingly conceived and appeal to all.
Woven Wings Baby wraps are woven in the UK in a renowned Mill specialising solely in bespoke high-end quality textiles. Established since 1720 working in collaboration with luxury Fashion houses and couture designers they produce fabrics that are of the highest quality and demand. Fibres are carefully and ethically sourced, and all yarns are dyed in-house allowing for one-of-kind colours. Some of my wraps will feature our non-chemical luxurious finish which makes them blankety soft straight out of the bag and requires no breaking in.
