While composing the new face of "La foret vierge", I was, as always, looking for an inspiration in the world of nature.
When I go to a forest, I always focus on details; they affect the senses the most.
This time I want to show you a wrap that is a feast for the hand and eyes.
After a long time, I decided to reach out again for the wildest from the Wild Slings blends. For the first time, however, I decided to dye wild linen so that the beautiful handmade fringles are in amazing deep black color.
The elegant black of linen is interwoven with colorful tussah threads, the irregularity of which makes each of these unique wraps different and one in a kind.
"Le paillis" means forest bedding in French. A kingdom of details and colors, whose magic will be appreciated only by those who can look carefully.
"Le paillis" is a spectacular combination of deep black, wine, rusty ocher and mint. It's freshness and rawness in one, the perfect setting for plants and insects from the "La foret vierge" pattern - a true piece of art, a microcosm.
The first impression is surprising – rough, rustic texture is hard to compare to any other blend. However right after the first wash, they are tamed and will take care of the sleepy dust and cuddling of your child. If you don’t know my earlier combinations of tussah with raw linen, then you have never experienced an equally extraordinary wrap.
