There are many faces of the wind.
Sometimes it gently strokes the tree’s branches, some other time they are bent under its strength. It carries memories along, bits and pieces picked up in a hurry.
Stop for a moment in the everyday rush and listen to the melody of its sound. Watch how it makes the leaves dance, listen to the hum of the trees.
I decided that the second face of “Freres de sang”, also in terms of the blend, should allude to the elements, and the wildness of the wind perfectly fits this task.
When you look carefully at the wrap, you will notice the speck, carried by the wind – these grey, white, black, beige protuberance are tussah.
They intermingle the treetops, backs of the animals outlined on a black carcass made out of Egyptian cotton.

“Freres de sang- le vent” is a wild triblend:
50% Egyptian combed cotton
10% organic Pima cotton
40% jaspe tussah silk (19% white tussah 21% ashy tussah )
The wrap is on one hand classically elegant, and on the other natural, irregular, wild and full of forest sleepy dust. It is as always easy to tame, for cuddling a newbie, and remarkably strong, to take a few-year-old on a long trip.
Who’s behind all of this?
A photographer, designer, tattoo artist. An animal lover, vegetarian, heavy sound enthusiast, aesthete…
But above all, a father of three wonderful kids, a babywearing activist and a supporter of the attachment parenting.
Everything I love became an inspiration to create the Wild Slings.
