Vanamo baby wraps are ecological and ethically produced in Finland from pure natural materials. Because of our special weaving technique Vanamo wraps are soft, moldable and strong. You can comfortably carry the baby from birth to toddler ages. Woven wrap is also breathable and cool.

The combination of linen & silk makes the wrap light & airy - yet strong and supportive. Although the linen-silk Vanamo wrap is cool and airy for the summer, the wrap can be used during all seasons. Kide weave is diagonally elastic which means that the baby wrap gives an optimum support for the baby and feels comfortable for both the wearer and baby. This thick wrap is great for great for bigger babies and toddlers.
A new wrap can feel a little stiff at first but the fabric will soften up quite quickly when you start using it. Wash and iron with plenty of steam and the wrap will fluff up considerably.
Vanamo Kide fabric is a complex mixture of twill and tabby weaves which create the unique structured, porous and comfortable baby wrap. The rich crystal pattern was inspired by the old handwoven Finnish linen textiles. After the first washing the fabric will fluff up and the unique texture appears.

How to care for your Vanamo wrap:
Hand wash in cold water (30 celcius), hang or flat dry, iron with low heat. Use steam of iron the wrap while still a little damp. NO tumble-drying!
We recommend washing the baby wrap before you start using it. The wrap will become softer and easier to wrap with after washing & ironing, and the fabric will obtain it's optimum structure and density. Each baby wrap includes some extra length for shrinking.
