Fennel is the second in the ‘Spice’ series of Soul handwoven fabrics. Like our best-selling Sumac and Prism wraps, Fennel too has been hand-crafted by master weavers in a fair trade artisan weaving centre here in South India. Due to limited fabric availability, Fennel products will only be available in small quantities from our website and will not be restocked once sold out.
This is a medium weight, 100% cotton handwoven fabric. Green and mustard yellow checks give it a subtle touch of elegance. Fennel is very friendly to beginners, with a firm grip as well as a little stretch and bounce that will lock carries into place with minimal effort. This all-season fabric is only 222 GSM, making it soft and airy against delicate baby skin in all climates. Woven entirely by hand, Fennel is deceptively strong, making it ideal for older toddlers as well as newborns. In fact, Fennel makes excellent ‘beater’ wraps that you can take on outings and outdoor expeditions: it is easy to launder! For optimum performance, we suggest you wash your Fennel carrier once before use, and it’s good to go!
