Tragetuch Oscha Smaug the Stupendous

This stunning black and white version of our Smaug design is an instant classic - an easy to wear colour combination is complemented by wonderful cushiness for ultimate comfort, making it the perfect toddlerworthy fabric that avid babywearers will want to reach for time after time.

Woven with our unique pocket weave technique this easy care fabric has two layers sitting on top of one another which gives extra strength. As thicker yarns were used to create this fabric, it is a wee bit denser in comparison to our previous pocket weaves. This means that Smaug the Stupendous is very supportive and perfect for carrying heavier children and toddlers, however it will need some breaking in to soften it.

Based on the descriptions of Smaug in The Hobbit, our design of the fearsome dragon is especially striking on this fabric as the pocket weave technique adds beautiful crispness to each tiny detail. Small white dots, which pin the pocket weave together, speckle across the black backdrop creating a lovely, unique effect.
