4 Privet Drive, created for us by the awesome Kali Designs, is based off of the United Kingdom version of the seven Harry Potter book covers. Open at the Close is based off of the United States version of the same book covers.
This collection of wraps was created to pay homage to our favorite book series! If the Harry Potter books are as special to you as they are in our house, then you are going to love these wraps! 4 Privet Drive & Open at the Close will be woven by Girasol in a black weft and in their cross twill weave.
Both pre-orders will close on Monday, May 1 at midnight.
We originally planned to go on a journey in Central America for 6 month, but it grew into a 2 years stay.
There remains among us a lasting affection for the region and a special loveof the Indians of Guatemala.
We started selecting cloth, textiles and handicrafts on the markets of the Guatemalan highlands to sell them in Mexico and later in Germany.
Our shop in Berlin opened 1984.
Through our continous stays in Mexico and Guatemala, we developed friendly relations to the families of the weaver and artisans.
The collaboration with the artisans is based on fair trade with the guarantee of continous orders.
