Das Girasol Orchidee ist eines unserer Entwürfe, mit Schussfarbe flan de caramelo (Karamell) ist es wundervoll frisch und pastellig.
Die Fischgratwebung mit doppeltem Schuss wird nach dem ersten Waschen kuschelig weich und schmiegt sich perfekt an Mama und Tragling an.
Mit einem Flächengewicht von ca. 300 g/m2 ist das Girasol Orchidee perfekt für schwerere Babys und Kleinkinder geeignet.
Das Orchidee ist nur in limitierter Auflage erhältlich.
Die Tücher von Girasol werden von den Hochlandmayas aus Guatemala bis heute, auf traditionelle Weise, in Handarbeit hergestellt.
Die besonderen Farben der handgefärbten Garne lassen sich auch bei idealen Lichtbedingungen nicht zu 100% einfangen. Wer einmal ein Girasol© gesehen hat, wird wissen, wovon wir reden.
Zur Erleichterung des Bindens haben die Tücher eine Mittelpunktmarkierung und abgeschrägte Enden für einen schönen Abschluss.
Die Einzigartigkeit jedes Tuches besticht durch die Handarbeit, daher sind herausstehende Fäden, Schlaufen usw. kein Reklamationsgrund.

We originally planned to go on a journey in Central America for 6 month, but it grew into a 2 years stay.
There remains among us a lasting affection for the region and a special loveof the Indians of Guatemala.
We started selecting cloth, textiles and handicrafts on the markets of the Guatemalan highlands to sell them in Mexico and later in Germany.
Our shop in Berlin opened 1984.
Through our continous stays in Mexico and Guatemala, we developed friendly relations to the families of the weaver and artisans.
The collaboration with the artisans is based on fair trade with the guarantee of continous orders.
