A very limited number of these special Meeyoo-designed, Girasol Berlin handwoven 'Goldie' wraps will be available tomorrow, July 12th, at 10:30am EDT on the Meeyoo website - https://meeyooshop.com/
'Goldie' will be available in size 6 (4.6m) wraps and in size 4 (3.6m) wraps. All wraps are easycare 100% cotton, soft and suitable for newborns and strong enough for toddlers. 'Goldie' will be available in Crema de Nube, Azul Capitan and Azul Pacifico wefts.
We originally planned to go on a journey in Central America for 6 month, but it grew into a 2 years stay.
There remains among us a lasting affection for the region and a special loveof the Indians of Guatemala.
We started selecting cloth, textiles and handicrafts on the markets of the Guatemalan highlands to sell them in Mexico and later in Germany.
Our shop in Berlin opened 1984.
Through our continous stays in Mexico and Guatemala, we developed friendly relations to the families of the weaver and artisans.
The collaboration with the artisans is based on fair trade with the guarantee of continous orders.
