Kokiri is here and my oh my is it gorgeous!!! Whether you are a Zelda fan or not, you are going to fall in love with this wrap!!
Kokiri is the newest design in our Geek Files Collection. The colors of this wrap were inspired by The Legend of Zelda series and our friend Jaime and brought to life by the always awesome, Kali Designs. Kokiri was woven by Girasol in their double honeycomb weave. This weave gives a beautiful pattern to the design and is as soft and strong as diamond weave....we are so in love with it!
Kokiri is available in three wefts: cuervo (black), mercurio (light gray), purple lamativa (light purple).
We originally planned to go on a journey in Central America for 6 month, but it grew into a 2 years stay.
There remains among us a lasting affection for the region and a special loveof the Indians of Guatemala.
We started selecting cloth, textiles and handicrafts on the markets of the Guatemalan highlands to sell them in Mexico and later in Germany.
Our shop in Berlin opened 1984.
Through our continous stays in Mexico and Guatemala, we developed friendly relations to the families of the weaver and artisans.
The collaboration with the artisans is based on fair trade with the guarantee of continous orders.
