Olive is a gorgeous green that's been one of our best sellers for years. It's easy to take care of, it's machine washable and dries on the line. Wash it as soon as you get it and before you use it. This enables the cotton fibres to regain their stretch after the dying process and is much easier to handle when you're tying it.
We have 2 sizes to choose from. Most people wear a size 6 i.e. Medium which is 4.6m long but if you are very tall or over a size 16 then go for a size 7, i.e. Long and 5.2m.
Whichever length you choose the width of the wrap is the same. When you stretch it out you'll see that it looks like a parallelogram. The reason the ends are cut on the diagonal is so that it's easier to tye a knot.
The fabric feels very light when you're wearing it and of course as it's natural cotton it's breathable too. There's really no better solution when you're carrying your baby in the heat. Both of you will keep cool and comfortable and as the wrap will spread the weight of your baby evenly over your back and shoulders you'll be surprised at how long you can carry your baby without getting sore muscles. As your baby gets heavier your muscles get stronger so you can be comfortable for longer.
All Calin Bleu wraps are made in the UK and are safety tested and comply with the BS EN 13209-2:2005 which is the baby carrier safety standard for the UK and Europe.
Follow the instructions that come with it to carry your baby or toddler on the front, hip or back from 3.5kg to 15kg or 7lbs to 33lbs. That's about the weight of a newborn to a 2 or 3 year old.
