Leo Khadi (expected November 2014)
Here’s a sneak peek into what the warp looks like!
Our latest Khadi Project -- Galileo (Leo) named after one of the most significant people in the history of science. He was an Italian physicist, mathematician, engineer, astronomer, and philosopher who played a major role in the scientific revolution. Personally, the name Leo is very close to my heart (you know who you are!). I thought it was apt to name it after someone who is and will always be Bebe Sachi’s # 1 critique.
Leo has a colourful warp with 3 distinct coloured wefts (Maroon, Black and Natur) repeating itself. Just like life’s journey, we imprint upon ourselves all the colours of the spectrum from all our life experiences.
Maroon (a variation of red) signifies a pioneering spirit and leadership qualities, promoting ambition and determination. It denotes controlled and more thoughtful action.
